Waghorne Workplace Design is an up-and-coming design studio specialising in workplace interior design, architectural restyling and branding. We also bring you the latest in office furniture trends. Our focus is on commercial and industrial sectors requiring high-end design detailing.

We undertake all kinds of problem solving issues: from overcrowding, health and safety, noise, productivity, privacy, air quality, collaboration, sufficient working light, to creating agile meeting rooms / workspaces.

From the outset building a relationship with you is our primary goal, because that’s when great things happen. Over the years we’ve learnt that the most successful projects incorporate the elements below.

We develop our WORK ETHOS around these four primary principles:

We need time to know more about your business, your company requirements, thinking process and work style. We are always grateful if you give us time to do our job properly: you will get the best results.

We work closely with you to achieve the desired results: a two-way transparent communication process is key to any project and we make sure that each one of us understands all the anticipated steps and work together to find the correct design solution.

They say patience is a virtue whilst we work on your project and start the creative thinking process. The best creative solutions are only achievable when both parties collaborate effectively.

We are both ready to negotiate and compromise in order to have a smooth working relationship so that together we can find the key to a successful project delivery.

After spending 15 years at our existing office location Shift F7 recently moved to new premises. As part of this move we had to transition from a 3 story building with 15 staff to an open plan office located on one floor with the addition of another 18 staff.

We engaged the services of Waghorne Workplace Design who drew up detailed plans of the new office. These plans provided numerous desk plan options based on our department structures, the use of existing desks, standardizing on new desk sizes, accommodating meetings rooms, our existing office furniture etc. all of which determined the best use of the space available.

Steven’s creative, practical and clear designs proved invaluable in ensuring a smooth office move and I have no hesitation in recommending his services.

Managing Director – Shift F7 Ltd

Moving to a new office is daunting enough without taking on a conversion from warehouse to office space! Steven took the project on a few weeks after we decided to take this space and he was incredibly knowledgeable on projects of this nature. He took on board our ‘wish list’ and produced a number of plans for us to consider. The final results are exactly how we imagined our office would be and we are thrilled. Steven’s involvement did not end at getting plans ready for the builders/contractors to work from – he stayed in touch through out and even rejigged the plans to incorporate our change in floor plan and furniture ready to send to our office furniture supplier – this was above and beyond what we expected but we remain eternally grateful to Steven for his professionalism and dedication to our project. In summary, using Waghorne Workplace Design gives you the confidence in your project and knowing they are there throughout the build for those inevitable changes is priceless.

I am happy to supply a testimonial for Steve, who worked with me as senior project designer on the spatial planning and refurbishment to the London Borough of Islington Council HQ offices. His particular job involvement was to coordinate the design, focus meeting, along with producing CAD drawings from the discussions,  effects and execution of detailed building works to myself. His co -ordination also extended to the building trades involved in this project.

I would recommend his skills to any future company requiring an interior workplace designer, space planner.
